Hello there!
I am so sorry for the long absence. I will not bore you with the details.
I am still a huge SK fan. I found him when I was a teenager. My first read was Pet Sematary in Finnish. Then I do not remember what I read, but in 1999-2000 sometime I read The Green Mile. Then I kept buying his books and adding them to my TBR. I am a hoarder and collector lol...
In 2013-2014 I read Carrie. I joined the Facebook -group: Stephen King Lovers. That was the BIG CHANGE. I started being obsessed with SK... I got as many of his books as possible, now I think I have almost 50 of his books, so most of them.
So far I have read:
Carrie
The Shining
'Salem's Lot
Dr. Sleep
The Green Mile
Pet Sematary
Joyland
The Stand
and I am currently reading and listening to IT...
IT is great! :) Many times 100 pages just FLY past! That is amazing!

Back on track...
Hi! Hello!
Well, I haven't had the energy lately to blog or read much... I'm still reading The Stand by Stephen King and I have about 300 pages left... I don't know about those big books that intimidate me so much... I've been a little lazy... I'm also currently reading Mr. Mercedes.
For the record: I started reading Uncle Stevie's works in order of publication and so far I'm at The Stand. I have read Dr. Sleep, Joyland and The Green Mile too. My all-time favorite SK book is probably The Green Mile. Or Carrie...
More later!

My Stephen King poem...
My Stephen King
There once was a great man,
Who wrote better than anyone ever can
When I was but a teen
I discovered his books
And the first I read was Pet Sematary,
It was quite out of the ordinary
By now I'm completely hooked
Love at first sight
Every time I see his name on the cover of a book
Thanks, Mr. King
My Stephen King There once was a great man, Who wrote better than anyone ever can. I'm so grateful he started writing, His books are the silver lining, That helps me feel good, And keeps me waiting for the next book. When I was but a teen I first discovered his incredible gift, Pet Sematary, you gave me such a lift. Thanks, Mr. King.

My first Literary Blog... Here it goes... ;) :P
Helllo there!
Welcome to my first attempt at a literary critic book blog, in this one we're focusing on Stephen King. The inspiration to this blog was from my friends H & R plus the group Stephen King Lovers, which is a Stephen King -fan club on FaceBook...
https://www.facebook.com/groups/StephenKingLovers/
There is the link to the group. It's amazing! It has over 10 000 member already! Feel free to join :)
Since I was a teenager/child I've always liked Science Fiction and Fantasy -books and I liked to read about horror and scary things. The first contact I had with the Stephen King -books was my friend T, who owned Pet Sematary in Finnish and she gave me a chance to read it and I was hooked :P I don't think I got as much out of the book then that I will get later, when I read it again and this time in English :)
The second book I read by SK was The Green Mile, about five years later, and I read it in English. I remember savoring every gory detail and reading out loud the horrible gruesome parts to my scared and terrified younger cousins, on the bus on our way to a Youth Activity in the Church, which I belong to (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints --- The mormon chuch :)
The third I started was Insomnia, sometime in 2001 or maybe before, but I didn't finish it yet so it kinda doesn't count :) In 2006 I tried reading Hearts in Atlantis but I never finished that either. Not Yet...
Then "giant leap" until 2013, when I read Carrie, Joyland, Salem's Lot and in January 2014 I finished The Shining. Now I'm reading Dr. Sleep and I really have been enjoying it so far. It just keeps getting better and better.
More Later! If you want to comment, which book you think I should read next, please let your opinion known :)
